Verisk is hiring a Gen AI Developer – Python, FAST API in Hyderabad. This full-time, hybrid role focuses on building production AI applications and services rather than limiting the work to experimentation or research.
What you’ll do
You’ll develop LLM-powered applications, backend services and REST APIs; build RAG and semantic-search pipelines; and integrate commercial or open-source models. The work also includes model evaluation, prompt optimization, cloud deployment and improving AI systems for reliability, latency and cost efficiency.
What Verisk is looking for
- 3–5 years of experience in software engineering, AI/ML or a related technical role.
- Strong Python skills and experience building backend applications and REST APIs with FastAPI, Flask or Django.
- Practical experience with generative AI or LLM applications and an understanding of RAG and semantic search.
- Experience with vector databases, AI model integration and AWS cloud deployment.
- Prompt optimization and AI evaluation experience are listed as must-have qualifications; NLP exposure is also requested.
