Deloitte is hiring a Senior Consultant Product Engineer in Bengaluru. This hybrid role combines product engineering with AI-assisted development, taking software features from early concepts through production.
What you’ll do
You’ll design and deliver product components such as microservices, APIs, data pipelines and event-driven services. The role also involves working with product managers and designers, testing and reviewing AI-generated code, and using agentic tools for tasks such as test creation, documentation, refactoring and debugging. The listing requires working from the office at least three days each week.
What Deloitte is looking for
- 5–8 years of experience.
- Strong skills in at least one of Java, Python, Go or TypeScript.
- Experience with microservices, REST or GraphQL APIs, distributed systems and SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Experience using AI engineering tools and evaluating AI-generated code.
