Amazon is hiring a Software Development Engineer II for Enterprise Engineering in Hyderabad. The team builds and operates internal productivity platforms and is developing data-governance capabilities that help manage how employee information is accessed, classified and audited.
What you’ll do
You’ll design, build, test and operate software across the development lifecycle. The work spans services such as request portals, policy rules, data-classification pipelines and governed analytics. You’ll collaborate with Legal, Privacy, Security and engineering teams to turn requirements into reliable software, and evaluate tools—including generative AI—where they improve productivity or quality.
What Amazon is looking for
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- Experience contributing to architecture and design for new or existing systems is preferred.
