What you’ll do
- Learn to write extensible, maintainable code using coding patterns and best practices.
- Assist with debugging, testing, and proactive issue identification using logs, telemetry, and automated code analysis under guidance.
- Support development and testing of design options while learning system dependencies, performance, scalability, and security fundamentals.
- Participate in code reviews, learn coding standards, and begin reviewing peers’ work.
- Support security testing, monitoring, compliance work, feature integration, end-to-end testing, and deployment processes with direct guidance.
- Work on call to support customers and help resolve service degradation, downtime, or interruptions.
What you’ll bring
- An Associate’s degree or apprenticeship in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, plus 6+ months of work or internship coding experience.
- Or a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline with proven coding experience.
- Experience coding in one or more languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python; equivalent experience is also accepted.
